STRENGTHENING SUPPORT FOR CHARITY’S LIFE-SAVING WORK
When I first became President, one of my aims was to strengthen our links with the Electrical Industries Charity. I wanted it to be naturally associated with SELECT and to make sure we highlighted charity events and fundraising activities. Te charity’s work
is vital and, in some cases, life-saving. Many of our Members are under constant pressure. Tat can sometimes lead to problems such as mental health issues and, in extreme cases, suicide.
Te Electrical Industries Charity provides the help people need. Crucially, it has expert insight into our sector and it uses that knowledge well. What’s more, it
doesn’t just help our
Members; it’s there for their families too. It’s heartening to know that the relationship we’ve established with the Electrical Industries Charity will continue and, I hope, grow even stronger in the future. ● Find out more at
