Good news for ZeeVee ecosys- tem integrators, consultants, distributors and end-users wanting to learn more about advancing imaging capabili- ties, including how to address elaborate multiview and video wall requirements. ZeeVee’s Di- rector of Product Management, Art Weeks, has explained how easily this can be done – sav- ing integrators and end-users significant time and money in system design and installation. “We have discussed how many advanced imaging capabilities including multiview, one of the most powerful, yet underused, tools available in our ZeeVee ZyPer4K products. As a key dif- ferentiator of our AVoIP offer- ings, we want to make sure its benefits are fully understood so that these components can be most effectively deployed for a
wide range of applications. In fact, we’ll share how one inte- grator recently built a system with more than 140 multiviews for a very appreciative custom- er.”
Among the many benefits ZyPer4K delivers compared to traditional matrix switch solutions is the ability to cre- ate multiviews and video walls without additional hardware. In addition, support of gen- lock and frame sync for video projection enables content to be easily placed and moved to different locations on a video wall for virtually endless visu- al possibilities. Projector edge blending, which enables multi- ple projectors to each display a portion of an image creating a seamless single large image, is also achievable.”.
CDEC placed on national university framework
CDEC Ltd has been awarded a place on the new national uni- versity framework for Audio Vi- sual Supplies, System Design, Installation and Maintenance. This appointment follows a rig- orous selection process headed by the North Eastern Univer- sities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC).
NEUPC acted as lead organisa- tion on behalf of its consortium members, including HEPCW, LUPC and SUPC, each repre- senting membership from uni- versities and further education colleges in their respective re- gions. The competition process
sought to secure best value for all members, and to provide an easy and compliant route to market for over 170 members, with clear KPIs and a structure which would benefit all mem- bers and suppliers.
In a change from the existing framework agreements, this framework has been organ- ised into two lots for ‘large’ and ‘small’ contracts, to re- flect the difference in works not just in terms of value, but also with regards project com- plexities. Each geographical region therefore has been split accordingly, with 10 integrators
