Handy AV has announced that its owner, Aubrey Wright, has joined the board of directors of the Global Signage Alliance (GSA), a not-for-profit association dedicated to promoting and increasing the adoption of future proof digital signage solutions based on MagicINFO, Samsung’s market-leading content and device man- agement solution.
The GSA board members welcome Aubrey to the association to combine their forces for propelling the alliance from creation to execution. Each GSA board member was chosen for their strong vision and commitment to the digital signage community, repre- senting an international network for worldwide collaboration.
GSA members represent key industry stakeholders including solu- tion providers in the areas of signage as a service, hardware dis- tribution, software solutions, installation, integration and develop- ment services, content creation and end-users. The GSA combines the knowledge and expertise of all members to create an ecosys- tem to help realise the next generation of digital signage using Samsung’s MagicINFO.
With Aubrey’s wealth of experience within the AV and IT indus- try, and track record for delivering large-scale digital solutions for global organisations with Handy AV, Aubrey will provide a unique and valuable perspective on the digital signage marketplace for the GSA. Technological Innovations Group (TIG) is pleased to appoint Marc Torne as its new Business Development Manager for Spain and Por- tugal. Marc will be the main interface for consultants and end-users in the region, to advise on Crestron's solutions. He will work hard to nurture TIG's successful relationships in Iberia to ensure customers' needs are met. He will also be responsible for developing a strategic action plan that supports new business leads for TIG. On Marc's appointment, Alain Solomon, Regional Director for South- West Europe, says: “Marc demonstrates a superb knowledge of the AV market in Spain and his sales, business development and project management experience means he is the ideal person to drive TIG's business development activity in Iberia.
