1 Precision Textiles is helping retailers create

a more comfortable shopping experience with new hygienic mattress testing kits. Though brick-and-mortar stores are beginning to re-open, many consumers remain concerned about transmission of the COVID-19 virus. These new testing kits are a vital safety precaution for shoppers as they rest-test sleep systems in-store. Each kit is individually sealed and contains one 60-inch by 40-inch mattress cover and 15-inch by 20- inch pillow cover that are disposed of following every mattress trial. Made from an anti-microbial polyester blend, the sheets are soft-to-the-touch and do not impact the feel of the products.

3 From state specific webinars to a ‘back-

to-business’ resource hub and regular research-based updates on retailer response, Nationwide Marketing Group (NMG) has served as a key resource to bedding and mattress retailers over the past few months. A buying, marketing and operational support organization, NMG offers its members digital support, business intelligence, opportunities to build professional networks and more. And, during this fraught time, the organization has opened up select resources to non-members.

According to Magniflex, the material destroys virus and bacteria particles by up to 99% in just minutes. 4 With many retailers still struggling to bounce

back from temporary store closures, King Koil is deferring payments on all new floor samples and inventory through a new program it calls the “Mattress Stimulus Package.” Understanding that many retailers are facing limited cash flow as they look to re-open their stores, the company is giving all new and existing retail partners until January of 2021 to pay for their orders. King Koil is also offering two new velocity-priced mattress options to complement this new program. Both priced to retail under $1,000, the new models feature many of the same luxury components found in many of King Koil’s higher priced mattresses, including pocketed coils, gel memory foam, Tencel fabric and hand-tufting.
