The horses are all feeling so well and strong from the inside out. We have kept their work varied, I've been introducing more lateral work to the younger ones; they are also learning the concept of half pass in trot and canter. The more experienced ones already established in these move- ments have been perfecting them! Beau (Undalgo De Windsor) has been doing plenty of posh trotting and I am really hoping that now when he comes out to do his flying changes in his dressage test, he can contain his excitement!

We have also been doing a lot of raised pole work, this is just brilliant for them all. No matter what their level it's great for their brains, foot work and core strength. It also gives us riders a bit of a change to trotting in circles.

Now that lockdown has slightly eased, we have increased the jumping and have a wonderful course of show jumps set up on grass. The horses love this and it's a great time to get practice in. Keeping the work varied, we have been hacking

and at the same time we are able to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Times like these really do make you appreciate just how lucky we are within the equine community.
