Old Grey was not always grey. It started out blue and white, changing colours six times to date. The brand new GMC half-ton was bought by Harry Penner in 1964, the year of his son Jack's birth.


One of Jack’s earliest memories is bouncing around on the bench seat as his father drove gravel roads that surrounded the family farm.


Upon Jack turning sixteen, Harry restored the beat-up farm truck before handing the keys to his son. Jack has had Old Grey ever since.


Restoring it a second time about twenty-fi ve years ago, Jack’s daughter Kate feels the truck should change hands once more on her sixteenth birthday. Jack is of a different opinion!
