Clive Sharp, Managing Director of Roxtec UK, said: “There have been plenty of examples of companies having been caught out by cyber attacks. Our aim is to ensure we have the most robust safeguards in place to protect our systems and data. Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation is welcome confirmation that we’ve adopted the correct approach.”

Danny Is the Driving Force at Specialist

Tool Company The new boss at an expanding specialist tool business has a hands-on knowledge of the products on his shelves – having used and sold them earlier in his career.

Danny Peachey has been promoted to General Manager at Gee-Force Hydraulics’ depot near Great Yarmouth where he has been sales engineer for four years.

During 15 years in other companies in the offshore supplies and support sector he has also worked in the stores, and carried out pressure testing, bolting and instrument pipefitting in locations ranging from the North Sea to Ghana.

His elevation, following the retirement of Managing Director Graeme Cook, coincides with global tool company Enerpac Tool Group buying Gee-Force parent company HTL Group.

Mr Peachey said access to the Enerpac range would increase the choice for clients, who were mainly in the offshore energy, renewables, construction and civil engineering sectors.

“I have gone from using the tools, to selling them, and now I am really looking forward to a management role where I can continue expanding the business.

“I hope that my knowledge of the products and the clients in the Great Yarmouth area will help with those ambitions,” he said.

Gee-Force will keep its name, which Mr Peachey said was a sign of its strong brand and reputation in the area.

The depot, which has seven staff at Beacon Park in Gorleston, prides itself on having a large stock of tools available for clients, which will also be bolstered by having access to the Enerpac Tool Group range.
