Thermal Heaven was part of Pennyhill Park’s whopping £1.2m refurbishment project to upgrade its unique thermal experiences with nine impressive new male, female and mixed-gender cabins of differing temperatures, humidities and aromas designed to nourish the skin with a range of heat, ice and steam. From essence enriched herbal saunas, schnapps and colour-themed steam rooms to an Ice
Igloo room recently added to the immersive journey with real ice shower designed to stimulate the blood circulation in your body and cool off!
Pennyhill Park encourages making time for wellness with full use of their facilities including the state-of-the-art Fitness Suite. The gym is 3,000 sq. ft. with a full range of Artis Technogym equipment, each with its own entertainment system as well as a comprehensive free weights area, stretch, kettlebell and ARKE wall. They have a wide range of studio classes and expert personal training is available to all guests and members.
If you want to book a beauty treatment or an overnight spa break, there are so many options on offer including superb value DETOX / RETOX Spa packages which include a welcome smoothie on arrival before your treatment and delicious lunch in their Themis restaurant to accompany your relaxing day. Therapists are highly trained. We were impressed by the myriad of natural and organic five-star treatments designed to detox, cleanse, relax and indulge the body and senses. The 60-minute Deeply Nourishing Gold Facial, using luxurious products enriched with caviar and pearl and scalp, hand and foot massage left me blissed out and stress-free! After your treatment, the relaxation areas are a must. The dark sensory lounge has the most heavenly gel beds, making it almost impossible to leave and the tranquillity of
the quiet daylight room is perfect for some “me” time, with a wonderful selection of magazines to read. The Spa is spectacular and has the look and feel of a luxurious high-end alpine leisure resort. We felt peacefully blissed out and on holiday, as the sun was out, and all the guests are there for the same reason: to switch off and unwind, sunbathing, sipping cocktails and champagne in the outdoor Jacuzzis and mulling around the relaxation areas in their luxury white bathrobes and exclusive flip flops! It’s really no surprise why the England Rugby squad have officially chosen to live and train here!
