And boy howdy, Lou and them sound as good as ever. They follow it up with a balls-to-the- wall “Double Vision” and “Blue Morning, Blue Day.” Then comes “Long, Long Way from Home” and the massive hit “Dirty White Boy.” For the finale, both original and current band members take the stage for “I Want To Know What Love Is,” done as a full Gospel rendition, adding the Albert Strickland & Cho'Zen Choir with all the Foreigners onstage together for the very first time. “Hot Blooded” is the electrifying encore

Foreigner Double Vision 40 Then & Now (Atlantic)

The current lineup of Foreigner may not be the originals but they sure sound like them! Original guitarist Mick Jones leads the band with Kelly Hansen doing just plain excellent vocals, along Tom Gimbel, Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein, Bruce Watson and Chris Frazier on a blistering set that kicks off with “Cold as Ice,” and is followed by one Top 40 hit after another, including “Head Games,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” “Head knocker,” an all-acoustic “Say You Will” and “Urgent.” and Mick takes over vocals for “Starrider.” A 3D animated spacecraft and digital effects breathe new life into the beauti- ful stage show. “Juke Box Hero” incorporates lasers, smoke and an insane animated juke- box.
