Last year’s Business of the Year winner came back fighting and were once again crowned winners at the Northamptonshire Business Awards. Barker Shoes Ltd stormed to victory last year


winning the Digital Communications Campaign of the Year title and Business of the Year award in Northamptonshire, and the regional and national awards in their category at the British Chambers of Commerce Chamber Business Awards. This year the judges in Northamptonshire presented the historic firm with the E- Commerce Business of the Year award, which recognises businesses that have delivered an outstanding online customer journey, shown responsiveness to customers’ needs and have


the business results and growth to match. The judges were impressed by the firm’s combination of clear strategic objectives, outstanding execution and its clear demonstration of impact. Barker Shoes Ltd managing director Alan


Pringle was part of the team which received the award from Scott Morren, of category sponsors Triad.
