High Growth Business of the Year
Postworks Sponsored by
A provider of award-winning online franking solutions has scooped the prize for High Growth Business of the Year at the Northamptonshire Business Awards. Northampton-based Postworks was launched
in late 2016 by director James Booker and commercial director Marvee-Lisa Booker to provide a software platform that allows businesses to ‘drag and drop’ their post for electronic sorting, printing and folding at its printing centre before it is handed over to the Royal Mail for delivery. The firm works with all senders of post –
from those that have a daily trip to the post office to enterprise organisations with complex workflows. It takes manual workflows and recreates them digitally so its clients can send out important post on time, the way they want, when they want.

The business was established in 2010 by young entrepreneur Parm Bhangal at the age of 22. Bhangals Construction Consultants has helped thousands of clients to save millions of pounds and consistently delivers on its promises to bring projects in on time, within budget and with the minimum amount of stress.

The Curve Group’s mission statement, or quest as they would say, is to create extraordinary people solutions that transform working lives. Established in 2004, The Curve Group deliver recruitment and HR outsourcing and consultancy. They provide agile, ethical and configurable people solutions across the entire recruitment and HR spectrum and support many diverse and long-standing clients with both the strategic and operational aspects of their recruitment and HR management. They believe that the best recruitment and human resource solutions are built around one thing - great people - people are therefore at the heart of everything they do.
Postworks beat off stiff competition from Bhangals Construction Consultants and The Curve Group to win the award by demonstrating to the judges their innovative approach to business and their consistent levels of growth. Marvee-Lisa Booker collected the award from
Reuben Leach, of award sponsors PCS Business Business Systems, along with other members of the Postworks team at the awards ceremony. She said: “We are really surprised to have
won because the competition in our category was so strong. “Our success is down to our team. It stems
from our mission to be a pleasure to do business with and our team deliver that mission so well.”
What the judges said:
“Postworks stood apart because their growth by way of turnover was very good. They showed
consistent growth in their business on a weekly basis and are incredibly innovative.”
