IN THE SPOTLIGHT: HEALTH & SAFETY
IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Keeping colleagues safe is a number one priority for Domino’s, whether they are office-based, field workers or drivers. Following on from a successful
Safety Week in June, Domino’s Health and Safety Team held a further Safety Week in October. This included events at its sites in Milton Keynes, Warrington and Naas in Ireland as well as company- wide engagement. HSE manager for UK and Ireland
operations Jake Moffat said: “Throughout our October Safety Week we engaged colleagues from across the business with a calendar of events. “Activities included safety stand
downs where a guest speaker visited our supply chain centres to talk about health and safety. We also held a tyre safety day, with the support of TyreSafe®, a charity dedicated to raising awareness of
the dangers of defective tyres. The charity visited our Milton Keynes and Warrington sites, where they provided advice and free tyre checks on colleagues' vehicles. “Briefings were held with our
drivers to discuss the health and safety risks they face as well as how to stay safe during the winter. There was also a Safety Survivor Game where colleagues were invited to take part in a set of safety challenges.” Alongside the main sessions, fun
facts and information were sent out via Domino’s internal intranet, Domi- news. A winter survival checklist for cars was given to all colleagues, and safety representatives conducted floor walks to talk about safety and hazard awareness. Domino’s also launched its new
safety video which was shown at events throughout the week, via the intranet and internal screens.

the balancing system must be protected against failure of vulnerable components that are subject to normal wear and tear and fatigue. On the announcement of the
revised regulation, Stanair have been working hard with customers to keep their doors up to standard. “It is crucial that our customers,
most importantly, have fully safe and secure doors, but also ones
