FIRM OF CHARTERED LOCAL FAMILY RUN
ACCOUNTANTS IN UK’S TOP 100 LISTING!
Lamont Pridmore takes place as the only Cumbrian Family run firm of chartered Accountants in UK’s top 100 accountancy list.
Staff and partners at award-winning Cumbrian firm Lamont Pridmore are celebrating after being named in the UK’s list of top 100 accountants.
With eight offices across Cumbria, Lamont Pridmore is the only independent firms of its kind based exclusively in the region to make the Top 50 + 50 list, which is prepared by professional publication Accountancy Age.
The list recognises the UK’s fastest-growing accountancy firms and has previously included Lamont Pridmore in previous years and has done so once again, thanks to the firms ongoing success.
Graham Lamont, Chief Executive at Lamont Pridmore, said: “To be included in this year’s 50 + 50 list is a real honour and reflection of our strong growth in recent years. This was a team effort and would not have been possible without the hard work of our staff, who have committed themselves to deliver the highest levels of service to our clients.”
Lamont Pridmore has been proudly advising businesses in Cumbria for more than 100 years and continues to gain recognition with a string of national award wins, alongside this latest listing.
Wilf Pridmore, a Partner based at Lamont Pridmore’s Keswick office, added: “We are immensely proud of what we have achieved but these honours and accreditations are only possible thanks to the forward-thinking approach we take and continual reinvestment into our practice and the team, which ensure we remain prominent in the region.”

What does the Future Hold?
None of us can predict the future but we can make sure we are in the best position to deal with whatever life throws our way. One of the ways we can do this is by making a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA).
What is a Lasting Power of Attorney?
An LPA is a legal document that allows you to choose in advance the people you would trust for help if there comes a time when you cannot make decisions for yourself, or maybe just cannot carry them out.
Making time for care
Lakeland Care prides itself on ‘Making Time for Care’ by providing the best personal and social care for residents and acting as a key part of the extended family to ensure a bespoke support for each resident’s family and friends

Preparing and registering an LPA can become difficult and stressful if left until it is needed and it can take months.
Making one now will make things easier for your family and friends in future. It will be more expensive, difficult and time-consuming for them to get the authority to act on your behalf when you are not able to give it.
You can prepare and register an LPA yourself by visiting www.gov.uk/opg
or you can speak to someone who can help you prepare one, like West Cumbria Carers.
West Cumbria Carers have a range of support options available, from a basic paperwork check to a full end-to-end registration service. Prices start at just £25.00.
