Through a glass darkly


As the evenings lengthen, it’s time to consider some darkly mysterious martinis. The gin like no other, Brockmans, brims with dark berry notes. Pour this smooth spirit of the night, with its blueberry and blackberry notes, from that elegant dark bottle to create martinis that are distinctively different.


We bring you two martinis, one featuring chocolate and the other coffee.


Whether these are served early in the evening to set the sophisticated and fun tone of the night ahead, or to sensuously complete a perfect night for your guests, these cocktails are bound to please.


Brockmans Gin is delicious as a classic dry martini. However, these reinventions of that classic both taste complex – yet each has only four ingredients. The complexity comes from the combination of the 11 botanicals in this stylish gin which, when combined with the multitude of flavour notes in both coffee and chocolate, present you with two delicate looking drinks that pack a powerful punch.


Brockmans Gin brims with blueberry and blackberry notes, has a hint of bitter-sweet Valencian orange peel, coriander and other exquisite botanicals such as angelica, lemon peel, liquorice, almond, orris and juniper berries.


The Mocha Martini 35ml Brockmans Gin


15ml Mozart Dark Chocolate Liqueur 50ml fresh espresso


Add the gin, chocolate liqueur and a shot of espresso into a shaker of ice and shake vigorously, adding sugar or sugar syrup to taste. Strain into a martini glass.


Garnish with chocolate powder and fresh coffee beans.


To sweeten, add vanilla syrup, sugar


syrup, or sugar cubes to required taste before shaking.


Brockmans Forest Gâteau Martini


35ml Brockmans Gin


35ml Dark Chocolate liqueur 25ml Fraise de Bois


3 fresh raspberries


Add all the ingredients into a shaker and hard shake with ice. Double-strain into a chilled martini glass.


Garnish with a flourish of dark


chocolate (shaved or grated) and fresh raspberries.
