Investment Casters Take Honors T


op honors in seven categories received awards in the Investment Casting Institute’s Annual Casting


Contest. Awards were presented at the Institute’s 66th Technical Conference and Exposition in St. Louis, MO. Awards were given in the following categories: aerospace, architectural hardware, automotive, defense, energy, fine art, and medical. Three finalists representing Member companies were also recognized. Awards were presented to Shellcast, Inc. of Montague, MI for aerospace;

Aristo-Cast, Inc. of Almont, MI for automotive and for architectural hardware; Cera-Met of Bethlehem, PA for defense; TPM, Inc. of Sugar Land, TX for energy; Artcast, Inc. of Ontario, Canada for fine art; and Uni-Cast, LLC. of Londonderry, NH for medical. Finalists included Aristo-Cast, Inc.


of Almont, MI, Turbo Cast (India) PVT. LTD of India and O’Fallon Casting of O’Fallon, MO. The casting contest is open to the


members of Investment Casting Institute and was designed to recognize


foundries which manufacture parts and components that best illustrate and promote the benefits and flexibility of the investment casting process, or which demonstrate problem solving techniques for the customer.
