Our 20th Year I

A Message From the Vice President of the Estero Chamber of Commerce

am excited about the direction and future of the Estero Chamber of Commerce. The Village of Estero is already considered the place to be in Southwest Florida. It is a great place to live, work, worship and

play. And … it is only going to become better. The Village of Estero Council and Staff, along with partners like

the Estero Chamber of Commerce and the Estero Council of Commu- nity Leaders, are fully committed to enhancing the quality of life in every arena - economic, social, recreational, physical, environmental, fiscal and educational. The comprehensive plan for the building out of the Village

Center/Estero on the River and the development of other available land in Estero is focused on making Estero a model community. This is also a new day and a new direction for the Estero Chamber of Commerce. With

a new, first time ever full-time Executive Director, a focused Board of Directors, a goal of 100 new Chamber members and a slate of community and economic partners like FGCU, recent and future medical facilities and hundreds of great businesses, we will only enhance our already favorable position. According to a report released by corporate relocation con- sultant, the Boyd Company, in July 2015, Estero is the Number 1 suburban office market community and has the lowest operating costs for a corporate headquarters in the entire eastern portion of the United States. We cannot help but be excited and optimistic about the days ahead.

Nolen Rollins,

couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come for Estero. As a young professional, and someone who has travelled quite a bit, I have never seen a place quite like it. The area is small, but full of things to do and no matter where you go, you feel welcomed. The next year will consist of many changes and growth, but I am confident that with the strong board, amazing volunteers, and staff here at the Chamber, we will reach all of our goals. The business community is my passion, and I look forward to getting to know and help grow the over 1,400 businesses here in Estero.
