11 -13 - “Ding” Darling Days’ Family Fun Days culminate on Sunday, Oct. 13, after a week- end of eco-activities with all-free refuge tram tours, wildlife presentations, hot dogs, kids crafts, archery lessons, and other family activities. Discounted birding, boating, tram, and kayaking activities fill the days. Te celebration begins on Friday, Octo- ber 11 with “Let’s Get Outside Day” followed on Saturday with Conservation Art Day, where Fed- eral Duck Stamp Winners, a photo contest, artists, cartooning, and a refuge photography tram tour highlight a day devoted to Jay Norwood Darling’s legacy as the first duck stamp artist and a Pulitzer Prize-winning political cartoonist. 239-492-8900;
