Meadowcreek Park, Kosse, recently
changed hands. For over 25 years, the 100- acre facility has been a key eventing venue in Area V and is known for straightforward courses and a heavy emphasis on competi- tor camaraderie. New owners Angelique and Shawn Harkin became familiar with the property when daughter Kaitlyn rode with the Texas A&M Eventing Team, and they closed the deal on the property on June 1. After 7 years of ownership, Robbie and Brad Peterson plan to stay on throughout the year to ensure smooth transition. August 16- 18, the Harkins hosted their first event, the AEC Warm- Up Combined Test and Open Schooling Show, and it was quite successful.
