Tiffany & Ryan Edwards


Can you tell us about yourselves Names – Tiffany & Ryan Edwards, 21 and 24. Been together for 4 years. The Proposal happened whilst we were on holiday in Bali on the beach.


Did you have a theme to your wedding? We had a Rustic theme.


Where and when did you get married? We got married on 6th April 2019 in St Mary’s Church, Tenby.


What wedding music and hymns did you have? I had (Bride) perfect (the piano version) to walk down the aisle to and hymns were All Things Bright and Beautiful and Amazing Grace.


Did you write your own vows? No, we chose to have the traditional wedding vows.


Can you tell us about your rings? The Bride’s ring is a thin white gold band and the grooms is a chunky white gold band.


Did anyone give a reading or solo? We had the Bride’s brother do a reading along with Vicky Chiffi who did the other reading.


Who was in the Wedding Party? Bridesmaids:- Grace Edwards - Grooms sister; Chloe Butler - Bride’sBest Friend; Steph Jarvis – Bride’s cousin. Flower Girl:- Lilly Young, Brides Niece. Page Boy:- Ollie Young, Brides Nephew Ushers:- James Gardner, Brides Brother; Teejay Gardner, Brides Brother. Best Man:- Ross Luxton, Groom’s Best Friend


How long before the big day did you start planning it? About 18 months.


Did you go to a Wedding Fair for ideas? Yes, and used Pinterest for ideas too.


What was your gown like?


I bought my wedding dress from Celebrations in Milford Haven. It was strapless, fitted at top and then fanned out at the bottom.


Who did your hair and make-up? Jamie Hughes did our hair and then my bridesmaid did our makeup.


Did you have a bouquet? Julie Keohane did all our flowers. We decorated the Reception ourselves and did all the tables and chair decorations.


Did you have any favours?


It was a shortbread biscuit in the shape of a heart with fondant icing on top with the date and our names pressed on the top.


What did the bridesmaids wear? And what about the Groom and Groomsmen?


All the men had hired suits from Mr Roberts in Pembroke Dock, black with white shirts and blue ties. The Bridesmaids wore Wedgewood blue flowy dresses which were bought on the high street in Dorothy Perkins.


Where was the Reception and can you tell us about it? Our reception was held at the De Valence Tenby. We had 100 guests to our day and had a sit down 3 course meal, followed by evening guests which arrived at 7pm and later had a buffet. We used DJ MADDOX for our music in the evening where he did an amazing job!


What was your first dance? Ed Sheeran – Kiss me.


Did you have a photographer and videographer? Photographer was Matthew Pitt.


Did you have a cake?


Michelle Fecci (who is now on the Great British Bake Off 2019!) created our 3 tier cake. Top tier was lemon and poppyseed; middle tier was red velvet and the bottom tier was cookies and cream. All covered in white meringue icing and flowers as decoration.


What mode of transport did you have on the big day? We walked to the church and borrowed a friends BMW to take us to photo’s and back to reception.


Where were the Hen and Stag nights? Grooms – Swansea, Brides – Tenby.


Did you go away on honeymoon? We went to Nice, France for a week.


What was your favourite moment of the big day? Watching everyone enjoy themselves and the speeches. And also, when we said I do.


What would be your top tips for a bride-to-be? Try not to stress and just enjoy every moment of it!
