Why is music important at our wedding?


I find live music is often an overlooked aspect of wedding planning. When in fact, music is without a doubt one of the most significant parts of your big day.


Why live music?


Ceremonies & Receptions can be very big spaces, even when filled with guests they can feel big,empty and impersonal without live music. As a contemporary violinist I have the unique ability to shape an atmosphere that’s unique to you as a couple. Wedding days rarely run to time, as a live musician I can respond to schedule changes and delays.


What music can you play?


I strongly believe that music at each wedding should be as individual as each couple. No two couples are the same – so why should they’re music choices be? I pride my business in being able to offer couples exactly that. A bespoke repertoire list, which means – whatever music it is that you like as a couple, I can play for you. That can be anything from classical to contemporary, or pop to jazz. Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of performing songs written by Ed Sheeran to ACDC, there really are no boundaries.


Where should we start?


I work on a personal basis with each couple from the start, right up until the big day. From working together to select the right music, to creating demo recordings for the couple in order to help make that final song selection.
