Forrest Print is an established design and print business in Pembrokeshire, offering a local reliable personal print service to meet all of your needs. They are a local company, based in Milford Haven, serviced by a large, modern print production facility in Swansea that provides the highest quality in South West Wales. They are experienced printers serving the Pembrokeshire and West Wales business communities for over 25 years. During this time, they have tailored packages for many brides, but now offer a personal service with their in-house team who will strive to take the hassle out of designing and ordering your wedding stationery bespoke to your style, budget and needs. Here they share their advice and top tips.
How soon before their big day do you suggest couples start thinking about their wedding stationery?
This is a personal question depending on the nature of the wedding. Brides who opt for a more traditional theme will be looking at save the date cards which are usually mailed six to eight months prior to the big day. Invitations usually follow six to eight weeks before the wedding. Every wedding will be different and that is the bonus of having a team in place to tailor the printing process to your needs. We have a large digital arm which means we can turn around print within a week; we can
take away the stress for those that may leave things to the last minute.
What wedding stationery do you offer? We have an in-house designer who will make a one-to-one appointment with you to discuss various design options and to gain an understanding of your style. We can then offer the complete package where we tailor your stationery to your style, needs and budget. We offer printed literature such as invites, order of service, table name cards and thank you cards as well as bespoke guest books and photo books. We have a large format division which means we can offer table plans, canvases or posters of the bride and groom to decorate any venue.
What designs are popular? Every wedding is different. We have done many traditional themes, as well as a new wave of contemporary designs. Currently, it appears that personalised illustrations are popular with a number of personal hobbies and traits of the bride and groom incorporated into an illustration for gate-folded wedding invites with the bride and groom on opposite sides, adjoining with the invites closed. We are also seeing a number of requests for a tear-off postcard for an RSVP in which the attendee just needs to sign their name and tick the relevant response. The colour theme, font and style can then be incorporated into the remainder of your stationery.

Approximately what is the turnaround time once the stationery order has been placed?
Once you are happy with the artwork from the designer and sign off for print, it will take approximately a week to complete.
What advice would you give couples looking to choose their wedding stationery? Give us a call and we can make an appointment for you to come in and have an informal chat and to look at some samples with Andrew and Amanda who will be happy to talk through all the considerations for you. The stationery needs to reflect you and we hope to give you the time and space to be able to present this to us to ensure you receive exactly what you want for the big day.
