Swimming lessons are offered at both the Family Leisure Centre (FLC) and the Crestwood Recreation Centre (CRC).

** Special Needs - If you are registering a swimmer with a special need please take the time to help us understand that need, either by describing the need in the comment section and/or by providing your name and contact phone number. We look forward to working with you and your swimmer to make this experience a positive one!

Parents will be required to fill out an information intake form and participate in a water assessment prior to registration for proper placement into a group. Once assessed and placed, parents will be invited to register.

Does someone have to be in the water with my child?

Yes, we require a caregiver to be in the water with the child for these lessons at all times. This one-on-one support benefits the child’s comfort and helps with one-on-one safety supervision. It is also beneficial for the caregiver to learn techniques and routines to support the child in learning and performing the swimming skills to be used at any time.
