You spoke about being injured in your very first game in the NFL and how that failure, or perceived failure, catapulted to you to what you see as your
purpose, “to change people’s lives through your speaking and writing.”
Tell us more about that. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the power or importance of adversity. For me, playing a professional sport was a dream of mine since I was a litle kid.
