LETTER FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Dear DATIA Membership—
As members of the DATIA Board of Directors, we believe in focusing on the pursuit of a common vision.
W
e hope that many of you are gearing up to enjoy a safe and healthy summer, and for those of you that have been impacted by storms and flooding, we send you our collective strength and resilience as you work toward recovery! At DATIA, we have been working hard since seeing 600+ friends and colleagues
at the Annual Conference in Chicago. Our conference theme was Building for the Future, and we appreciate each of you who took a break from your important work to participate in our education and speaker sessions, providing feedback through committees, and sharing your products, services, and ideas. The future of our industry is dynamic and ever-changing, and DATIA is looking ahead to its 25th Anniversary with a readiness to partner across our industry and with our membership to continue building on a foundation of excellence. DATIA is also proud of its long history in working with regulatory agencies
to bring critical information to our membership, and this year was no exception. We were thrilled when Patrice Kelley with ODAPC confirmed she has attended every DATIA conference since inception. Thank you Patrice! This year we were also grateful to have 13 representatives from FMCSA attending our conference. The FMCSA team provided members with critical insight on plans for the Federal Clearinghouse, and personally answered many questions. It is exciting to see this project evolve, and DATIA is committed to being a resource for updates and insights on this important FMCSA activity. As members of the DATIA Board of Directors, we believe in focusing on the
pursuit of a common vision. The level of collaboration we experienced at this year’s conference, and that exists across our industry is inspiring. Our Board is thrilled to have another year to work together on the initiatives that you, our membership, have said are important to you and your business. For those of you who have joined a committee, we
