This workshop will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse and poor practice and give you the tools you need to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively should the need ever arise in your coaching career. This workshop is a Minimum Standard for Deployment requirement for coaches. It is a nationally recognised certificate, valid for 3 years. Cost: £40 per person

This NSPCC workshop will describe how a Club Welfare Officer (CWO) works with others to create a child-centred environment; explain how the CWO role fits into the wider safeguarding environment; apply learning to case studies including sharing good safeguarding practice. This is a 3-hour workshop for Club Welfare Officers (CWO), who must have attended a Safeguarding and Protecting Children workshop previously and will need to bring their own reporting procedures to the workshop. Cost: £40 per person

Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice. (AED) Defibrillator training is also included. This workshop is a Minimum Standard for Deployment requirement. It is a nationally recognised certificate, valid for 3 years (recommendation to refresh after 2 years, subject to NGB) Cost: £45 per person
