Kent Community Foundation reception at Knole House
Lord and Lady Sackville and Kent Community Foundation hosted an evening reception in the Colonnade, within the family apartments of 600-year-old Knole House, with the 70 invitees including personal guests of Lord and Lady Sackville, Kent Community Foundation fund- holders, trustees and supporters. At the reception, guests – who included the
High Sheriff of Kent, Paul Barrett, the previous High Sheriff, Jane Ashton and the future High Sheriff, Remony Millwater, John Weir, from John Weir Funeral Directors, Chairman of KCF Trustees Tim Bull, County Councillor and KCF Trustee – celebrated the recent achievements of Kent Community Foundation (KCF) and Chief Executive, Josephine McCartney, spoke about how important the support of philanthropists is to the local community. Richard Oldfield, OBE, DL one of KCF’s fund- holders, followed Mrs McCartney to address the reception and explain why The Overstone Fund chooses to work with Kent Community

Live on the Vine
The Mayor of Sevenoaks, Councillor Nicholas Busvine OBE, will open Live on the Vine 2019, an evening of live music, stalls, refreshments and more. Featuring among the line-up are youngsters aged 11-18 and interested in the performing arts who have taken part in the free music lessons and open mic nights held at the House in the Basement Youth Cafe in the town on a monthly basis. The evening’s entertainment will be closed by the most sought-after act, Robbie White. • Live on the Vine takes place on Friday 19th July from 6pm-8.30pm at the Vine Bandstand, Sevenoaks TN13 3UH.
