RATTLERS


Whether it's down in the Snake Pit, outdoors on the soccer pitch or golf course, the Medicine Hat College Rattlers are a force to be reckoned with in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference.


The college fields teams in soccer, golf, basketball, volleyball and futsal. In 2020, the college will host both women's basketball and volleyball conference championships.


CUBS


The Medicine Hat Cubs are a great way to take in junior hockey at the grassroots level. The junior B team plays out of the 1,000-seat Kinplex arena, with the roster largely comprised of local players. They suit up in the Heritage Junior Hockey League starting in October.


SPEEDWAY


Fast-paced auto racing action can be found on summer weekends at the Medicine Hat

Speedway, northwest off Box Springs Road.


Racers have spent all winter and spring getting their cars ready for action at the oval.


DRAG STRIP


Hear, nay, feel the roar of some insanely powered cars and trucks as they burn down the quarter- mile at the Medicine Hat Drag Strip.


Or, heck, take your minivan down the strip during one of the local association's famed Friday Night Street Legals events. Whether it's cheering on your neighbour or gasping at what the lightning cars,
