ICI Member Benefits

The Role of the Official ICI Member Rep T

he ICI Member Representative is not expected to leap tall buildings in a single bound... but there is

still quite a bit of responsibility riding on their shoulders. They are the person at your company

who is the key contact for all things related to the ICI. Included in these are: • Ensuring that your company’s Membership details are accurate on the live Membership directory available on the ICI website.

• Enrollment of any employees who would benefit from the “Members Only” content on the website such as economic updates, labor law articles, and a digital archive of INCAST Magazine.

4 ❘ June 2019 ®

• Subscribing any employees who would benefit from INCAST Magazine to the mailing list.

• Informing company employees of educational opportunities provided by the ICI such as regional meetings, industry certification course, annual technical conference & expo, annual spring management meeting and the process control seminar.

• Taking advantage of INCAST Magazine’s global readership and sharing any related content your company would want to share with the investment casting industry.

• Informing company interns of available ICI scholarship opportunities.

• Provide information for ICI benchmarking surveys.

• Provide the ICI with the company’s financial earnings so appropriate fee structure can be applied.

• Provide details about ICI Awards and industry recognition.

So the next time you see your ICI Member Representative, thank them for donating their time to help better the investment casting industry and for being an ICI superhero.
