10th Anniversary at Coastal Building Supplies
HAVING been set up in 2009, Coastal Building Supplies celebrated their tenth
anniversary on April 1st. Started by James Peck, Laura Whayman, Andrew Webster and Mark Whitbread, the business began with one site at Sizewell Crossing in Leiston and seven members of staff. Fast-forward ten years and you will find branches in Ipswich and Woodbridge as well as the original Leiston site, and a total of 38 members of staff across all three locations.
The Ipswich branch opened in 2011 and relocated to a purpose-built unit on Wentworth Road in 2016. This was followed by the opening of the Woodbridge branch on Riverside Business Park, Melton, in 2017. So,
it business is fair has There
expanded over the last ten years.
grown was
clearly
a demand for this type of business and the amount of repeat and regular customers they serve from all branches is testament to this.
Coastal Building Supplies
offer a fast and friendly service to all comers and are open to trade and retail customers. You will find all you could want for your D.I.Y project in store so if you are half-way through a job and are missing something then this is the place to come with tools and accessories for just about any job you can think of. Likewise, trade customers will find a great selection
of bricks, blocks, paving, timber,
cement and
aggregates all in one place and available for delivery or collection. In short, Coastal Building Supplies stock anything from a few nails up to a full house!
The team work hard to ensure they can meet the needs and demands of their customers. New lines are regularly introduced to follow technological advances and latest trends and fashions. However, if what you want is not in stock please ask and they will do
their best to get it for you. Likewise, if you are a retail customer working on a home project and are unsure of exactly what you might need, the knowledgeable and experienced staff are always on hand and happy to offer advice and help. To mark their ten-year anniversary the team recently held a Trade Show Event at the Leiston branch which saw lots of great deals for customers on the day as well as a delicious hog roast and bar. This was as a thanks to their loyal and supportive
customer base as well as to raise funds for their chosen charity which is the East Anglian Air Ambulance. James, Laura, Andrew and Mark are always looking at new ways of improving what they offer and moving the business forward. However, they can’t do this without their fantastic staff, many of which have been with them for several years. They would like to thank their staff, customers and suppliers for their ongoing support and look forward to working with and serving them for many years to come.
