Education is at the forefront of The Meetings Show on June 26 and 27 at Olympia London

Meet, network and learn at Te Meetings Show 2019

Te Meetings Show returns to Olym- pia London on Wednesday 26 and Tursday 27 June where it promises to deliver an insightful education programme, multiple networking opportunities, the chance to meet 600 suppliers and more. Te premier event for the UK

inbound and outbound meetings industry also runs an industry- leading three-day hosted buyer programme which includes exclu- sive access to a Pre-Show Confer- ence on Tuesday 25 June, with a Hosted Buyer Welcome Reception taking place that evening. Hosted buyers have complete

flexibility over attendance with the option of visiting for one day only, two days with one night’s accom- modation, or three days with two night’s accommodation. Support for travel and accommodation is available if needed. Unlike some shows, Te

Meetings Show’s hosted buyer programme does not make ap- pointment matches, so buyers can decide who they want to meet with and when to make meet-

ings as beneficial as possible. Te only requirement is to attend six 15-minute appointments per day. Should a delegate’s plans

change, the programme also has the flexibility to accommodate this. For example, if buyers sign up to three days and can no longer make it they can drop to one day without losing their place, or in- crease to more days if only one was originally booked. Whether attendance is for one

day, or three, all hosted buyers benefit from a dedicated appoint- ment diary to pre-book scheduled meetings with exhibitors and are guaranteed access to the Hosted Buyers Lounge on-site. Making the trip to London even

more worthwhile is Te Meetings Show’s education programme. According to the results of a survey of 200 planners carried out by Te Meetings Show late last year, learning about the industry was quoted as vitally important for 2019 by many, so it promises to put education centre stage. With 18% of those surveyed

saying they would be prioritis- ing learning about the industry in 2019 and the same percentage saying they would be focusing on development specific to their own organisations, the team is working hard to develop sessions that can inform and inspire. Tis year’s theme is around the

entire event planning journey with the programme exploring areas such as Te Vision, Te Plan, Te Nuts and Bolts, Getting People Tere and Te Follow Up with dedicated seminar topics yet to be announced. With more than 4,500 meet-

ing and event professionals – from agency buyers, in-house planners, associations planners and media – expected to attend, Te Meetings Show also gives attendees multiple opportunities to network with like- minded members of the industry. Hosted buyer registration for Te

Meetings Show 2019, which takes place on 26 & 27 June at Olympia London, is now open. To apply, visit www.themeetingsshow.com/ visit/hosted-buyer-programme. n
