Cleaning up the town
THE outgoing chairman of Snodland Town Council,Debbie King, was so upset when she saw the amount of rubbish dumped in the cricket meadow, she organised a litter pick. She asked the town councillors if theywere available to help, andDilys
Crook, JamesMinter,NicolaMisy and KatherineMordecai-Woolf all vol- unteered. Debbie said: “I was delighted that we were joined by several mem-

She came with her husband, Reg, who is in amo- bility scooter. "It’s nice to feel you aremaking a difference, and I hope it gives other people some pride in the look and appearance of the town."
