30 MAY-01 JUNE Red Rooster Festival Euston Hall, Suffolk


Red Rooster stages the 5th edition of the festival this year. It is a truly Deep South Experience with Rock’n’ Roll, Blues, Soul, Roots and Country music weekend. It is set in 30 acres of woodlands, with a lake and a number of stages in the wonderful surroundings of Euston Hall. I have attended previously and can attest to a real mix of music devotees, across all generations. A real authentic, laid back and easy atmosphere. Definitely a family orientated festival, equally you can dance the day and night away with a number of music styles and entertainment. Acts include The Budos Band, Nick Lowe, Dale Watson & His Lone Stars and many many more.


Be quick though as Red Rooster has consecutively sold out the last 3 years. It is one of the best value festivals out there at just £69.50 + Booking fee for the whole weekend, which includes 3 nights of camping and parking FREE. A one-day festival which delivers the very best in indie and alternative music in an idyllic country setting, Sunday Sessions 2019 will be headlined by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, the acclaimed multi-platinum band led by the iconic songwriter.


On May 26th, Noel will perform in Norwich for the first time since Oasis played a gig at the Norwich Arts Centre back in 1994. The Sunday Sessions Norwich line up also includes Razorlight and The Coral.


Last year the event was headlined by Kaiser Chiefs, and this year with the line up has maintained the quality. Children can enjoy free activities to keep them occupied, including circus workshops with the Bigtopmania Circus, face painting, craſts, a super funfair as well as children’s entertainers.
