PHARMACY TEAM

MEMBER OF THE YEAR

JEREMY MEADER Managing Director, Numark Numark are delighted to sponsor the Pharmacy Team Member of the Year award with the Ulster Chemists’ Association

Pharmacy in Focus awards. It is a great pleasure to be part of pharmacy awards that celebrate the exceptional standards of care that pharmacies in Northern Ireland deliver to their communities. It is also with great pleasure that we are sponsoring an award that recognises the excellent work that individuals in a pharmacy team play in delivering great care.

Numark fully recognise that now, more than ever, community pharmacy needs even greater support. Numark offer this through a wide breadth and depth of services and support to members. This includes an efficient supply chain through Phoenix, delivering a wide range of commercial and healthcare services, back office support and upskilling the pharmacy

team. We deliver this support to our NI members through our Pharmacy Development Manager, Maud Orr, our Key Account Manager, John Murphy, our Regional Sales Manager, Kurtis Dodge, through our hugely experienced Numark Head Office team and through our website www.numarknet.com.

Our members benefit from our market-leading initiatives including our partnership with EMIS Health through Numark Assist PMR and with PharmAssist, the IT integrated buying solution. With the continued complexity of distribution deals, PI

availability and generics sourcing, we offer a fully-integrated PMR solution tailored to your buying and freeing up time. We are also delighted to partner with PharmaPod to launch a new dispensing error reporting service to allow our members to record medicines-related incidents and identify the causes of errors.

We are delighted at the uptake of pharmacists trained to administer flu vaccinations with our support. NI pharmacists trained to administer vaccinations are ensuring they are best placed to provide this service should it be offered in a NI contract in the future. We also provide a wide array of learning and development solutions to help upskill all members of the pharmacy team and continue to run interactive and informative learning workshops for our members and their teams across Northern Ireland.

We look forward to supporting our members even further over the coming years.
