New Year, New You!

Why not make your new year’s resolution the gift of a couple of hours a week to your local Hospice and discover that doing good

really does make you feel good? Heart of Kent Hospice is not an NHS service and receives just 20% of its income from the government. The gift of time that our volunteers give us can save us around £1m each year.

“I look forward to seeing the patients and meeting fellow volunteers. It’s somewhere a smile and a hello makes a real difference, I enjoy being part of the Hospice family.” Michael, 65, Retired

“I know I’m helping a local charity, but it’s the diversity of events and people I meet that I love. It gives me a great opportunity to broaden my experience and improve my skills” Amy, 25, Wedding Events Co-Ordinator

Heart of Kent Hospice cared for almost 1,500 terminally ill patients, their family and friends last year.
