The Detling Antiques, Vintage & Collectors’ Fair features everything from rustic country chic to retro style. Come see the numerous outside pitches, where visitors can expect up to 300 stalls offering plentiful choice from times gone by. Early entry tickets from 8:30am to 10:00am is £6 and later entry from 10am to 4:30pm is £5. FREE UNDER 16

A Woodland Year Great Chart Village Hall, Ashford

A talk by Simon Ginnaw, with photographs of woodland birds, butterflies, flowers and fungi, many of which are accompanied by bird song and music. Join the talk from 7:30pm to 9.30pm. Donations are welcome to cover the cost of this event, which costs about £3 per person to run. No booking required.

This talk serves as an introduction to the idea of armour as an expressive art form. Lecture
