Our Academies Trust consists of a cluster of primary and secondary schools at the heart of our local community, based in the Maidstone and Malling area of Kent. We have the following vacancies to support our extended site and finance teams.
Caretaker
Salary: VIAT 3 £17,593 to £18,251 per annum. Hours: 37 hours per week, all year round.
Based at either our Kings Hill or Holborough Lakes schools, as a member of the Trust's extended site team, you will undertake caretaking and cleaning duties throughout the site(s). Under the direction of the Estates Manager, duties will include security, locking and unlocking, cleaning of premises, dealing with deliveries and litter picking.
Groundskeeper Salary: VIAT 4 £18,251 to £20,339 per annum. Hours: 37 hours per week, all year round.
Based at Valley Park School in Maidstone, the Groundskeeper will undertake all grounds related activities to an excellent standard to provide a good impression to all visitors to the school. In addition, the role will also involve an element of supervision and mentoring to the Grounds Apprentice.
Cleaners
Salary: £8.75 per hour, £3,763 per annum pro rata to £16,882 per annum.
Hours: 10 hours per week, Mon-Fri 2 hours per day, term-time only.
As a member of the Trust’s extended site team, you will undertake cleaning duties throughout the site. Duties will include dusting, vacuuming, cleaning toilets and emptying bins to ensure a clean and tidy environment is maintained. This position will be based at one of our primary schools.
Finance Assistant
Salary: VIAT 5, £16,774 to £18,293 per annum pro rata to £20,339 to £22,182 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time or all year round considered.
Based at our Business Centre in Maidstone, we require a Finance Assistant with experience of finance in an educational environment. The focus of this role will be financial support and this is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team providing essential support to our schools.
