organization had to prepare and the difficult weather conditions, the games were a great success from the sport point of view. In the end, Florence hit other areas in the Carolinas and Tryon was spared. With the world championships over, I returned home
to get horses ready for dressage regionals in Lexington, Kentucky, where Cedar qualified two horses at Grand Prix and one at Intermediare 1. The 2018 WEG may be history, but its inspiration lives on as new memories, sto- ries and trends have all been unleashed.

on TV was excellent as far as the Mark Phillips course construction and the way the top riders rode it. It was technical but fluid and the horses seemed fit enough to cope with the conditions.
