PITCHCARE CLASSIFIEDS Machinery and Supplies

Product Update

A round-up of the latest product news announced in recent weeks

SCH Supplies has adapted one of their most popular products, the Leaf Suction Unit (PSU) into a road legal version.

The launch of the Outcross 9060 marks the first of its kind to be purpose-built for the management of fine turf. It combines the best elements of a tractor with a utility vehicle and delivers a machine that can do the work of multiple machines in one compact package.

Powered by a 59.8-horsepower Yanmar liquid- cooled diesel engine, the Outcross can tow up to 16,000lbs and has an optional cargo bed that can hold 4,500lbs of materials. It simplifies operation, optimises power and brings the option of dozens of attachments to perform hundreds of tasks.

Following hot on the Outcross’s heels for making the groundsman’s life easier is the Groundsmaster 1200 pull-behind rotary mower. What’s interesting about this new machine is that it is, says Toro, a pull-behind more than worthy of being called a Groundsmaster, such are its capabilities.

Productivity is high with a 12ft wide cutting width thanks to three decks which flow with the contours of the terrain and dual full width rollers which leave a well-groomed after-cut appearance. The height of cut can be adjusted from 0.5 (12.7mm) to four inches (102mm), and its wing decks folded up to create a narrow 86-inch transportation width, making it easy to get from site to site. Plus, the transport wheels feature a torsion axle and integrated torsion spring which means it can do its job smoothly and comfortably for the operator.

The latest innovation from Imants joins a highly successful portfolio of exclusive products including the Koro FIELD TOPMAKER, ShockWave, SandCat and RotoKnife. The RotoBlast adds to this impressive line of machines with a 3,750-rpm blower that produces an air velocity of 130m3

/min.

The tractor mounted blower is typically used for clearing greens and tees, fairways, pathways and other sports turf areas, but it is also designed to move leaves, grass clippings, thatch, litter and other unwanted surface debris from any area that requires clear access or to be kept tidy.

As with all Imants machines, the RotoBlast has

The PSU features a powerful 9hp Honda engine, which is mounted next to the fan on a two wheeled chassis. The fan is belt driven and not connected directly to the crank shaft, which adds longevity to the lifespan of the engine. The green waste passing through the fan is chopped up and propelled into the trailer, greatly increasing the storage density, allowing for less empties per day and saving a great deal of time and cost in labour.

The popular way of using the unit is to attach it to the rear of a leaf collecting trailer.

SCH manufacture specially adapted trailers with impressive storage, so that leaves can be emptied somewhere more suitable. Alternatively, they can send you a trailer adaption kit, giving you the opportunity to modify your own trailer, and SCH can even collect your trailer and modify it for you.

The heavy duty, commercial grade R-Series joins the Lastec product range. The R-Series is available in 52" or 61" cutting widths and is powered by a 26HP Kohler 7000 series vertical shaft petrol engine.

Featuring fully welded steel decks, heavy duty fabricated frame, and Hydro-Gear ZT-3100 dual integrated hydrostatic transaxles.

Optimal control and comfort are accomplished by the ergonomically-designed operator seat, large diameter ergonomic control arms to eliminate fatigue, easy height of cut adjustment and large commercial turf 22” diameter rear tyres for better traction and overall ride quality.

been designed with the practical user experience at the forefront. Attached by a 3- point linkage, the powerful blower is mounted on a wheeled chassis to enhance its ability to follow contours on undulating terrain whilst maintaining a constant nozzle height above the ground. There is also an option to invert the wheels and revert to a fully mounted operation.

The lightweight machine only weighs 100kg and can be lifted and moved by one person when not mounted on the tractor. It has a capacity of 300m2

Etesia UK has announced two new Attila pedestrian brushcutter models.

With built-in rugged reliability as

standard, the new Etesia AK60 and AH75 pedestrian brushcutters have been designed to work in the toughest of conditions. These powerful workhorses effectively deal with clearing vegetation from

a wide variety of sites - long grass, weeds, bracken and brambles on woodland paths or orchards. Ease of operation and manoeuvrability ensure total efficiency and high output.

Both models will be fitted with a T3 transmission with differential lock and front wheel locking system with a simple height of cut adjustment from the new handle bar design.

The AK60 model is fitted with a Kawasaki FJ180 OHV engine with a 60cm cutting width, whilst the AH75 is fitted with a Honda GXV 390 engine with a 75cm cutting width. Both new models also feature a new handle bar system with central cable protection allowing movement into offset and storage positions.

The two new models join the Attila AK51 Kawasaki 51cm cutting width model already in the range.
