They chose to offer this clinic for this particular group of people for the following reasons:

STRESS RELIEF: Acupuncture acts like physical therapy for the

nervous system. That is why such a large majority of patients expe- rience stress relief after each and every treatment.

PTSD: Acupuncture can treat PTSD by harmonizing the under- lying energetic imbalances that cause the condition. Acupuncture works by regulating the fl ow of Qi or life force in the body. In the case of PTSD, one’s life force/vital energy have become chaotic, disturbed, or grossly inconsistent. Acupuncture is a powerful way to settle such energetic disturbances and return the body and mind to a state of balance and peace.

ADDICTION RECOVERY: When combined with other forms of treatment, such as individual therapy, group counseling, and support groups, it can benefi t those suffering from a substance ad- diction.

NADA (National Acupuncture Detox Association): Recipients

of the NADA (National Acupuncture Detox Association), a stan- dardized Auricular Acupuncture Protocol, have reported these positive effects:

• Decreased substance abuse / Reduction of withdrawal symptoms

• Reduction in Cravings • Stress & Anxiety relief / Less Emotionally Reactive • Improved sleep / Relaxation • Increased wellbeing / Peacefulness • Positive physical effects / Reduction in pain

• Increased patient retention in rehab Be sure to check their website and sign up for the email list while you’re there so you can stay current on any possible changes in day/time of the clinic.
