mate Rodeo Tour kicked off the season and the long weekend in Chatham-Kent on June 29th in support of the Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers. It was a hot one on Friday evening, even as the sun was beginning to set but fans packed the stands for the rodeo performance to cheer on the cowboy/cow- girl competitors! Congratulations
to the System Fencing Pole Bending winner, Cayla Mursall and her horse, Gunner on the fastest run with a time of 21.09 seconds. The Dickies buck- ing horse event had some great rides with Brendan Bowie taking home first place with a score of 70 in the Novice Bucking Horse event, Peter Hallman in Saddlebronc and Joe Courville in Bareback. The Alberta Premium Bar- rel Racing saw a fast pen of horses with Denise Stoddart taking the win with a time of 15.02 seconds. The RAM Bull Riding had a

Von Doeler’s Ranch Hosts Rutherglen RAM Rodeo
On July 7-8 the RAM Rodeo
Tour headed North as Von Doeler’s Ranch hosted the Rutherglen RAM Rodeo! The ranch has been in the Von Doeler family for 103 years located just 30 mins outside of North Bay and sits on 180 acres of land in the rugged Canadian Shield with plenty of room for riding horses or in this case, rodeo! Congratulations to our weekend champions that include Barb Millar’s
