Career Development Programme for Spouses and Partners
Spouses and partners seeking work in the UK will benefit from all the practical information and support needed to successfully embark on their job search. Participants benefit from a network covering a range of industry backgrounds and experience levels built up over more than 35 years. An experienced team of career coaches and recruiters lead seminars, present materials and highlight services that are available.
Career Workshops Intensive workshops (meeting 2 hrs each week for four weeks) offered in the autumn, winter and spring, provide a comprehensive and supportive approach to finding the right job for you in the UK. The workshops help you focus on your career narrative by providing insight into your capabilities and experience while also building your confidence and network. Attendance at the introductory session is required to learn about the programme and to be able to choose one of the two different workshops: n Explorers – for those who would like to re-examine their career and explore new options.
n Fast Trackers – for those who know what they want to do, but would benefit from essential knowledge of the UK job market, networks, CV and interview styles.
