Re:locate Awards 2018
The Relocate Awards 2018 took place in the magical Underglobe at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre on Thursday, May10th. Introduced in 2007, the awards recognise excellence and celebrate the contribution of re- location expertise and services to global business.
More than 200 guests representing HR and the full spectrum of relocation and global mobility services gathered at this gala awards ceremony to toast their triumphs and successes.
“This has been a challenging year for
businesses here in the UK and for all those operating over international boundaries. Yet the Relocate Awards shine a light on all the great work that is being done behind the scenes in our sector to prepare companies, and sup- port employees and their families, throughout this monumental change” says Fiona Murchie, Relocate Global’s managing editor.
The Relocate Awards champion posi- tive contributions to domestic and in- ternational corporate relocation, globally mobile employees and family support. The several awards of the
evening recognised a vast spectrum of expertise that contributes to the suc- cess of an international assignment.
Alessandra Gnudi, FOCUS’ Executive Director, was delighted to present the award for ‘Excellence in Employee & Family Support’, a category which FOCUS has won twice in recent past years. This year it was won by REA – Partners in Transition.
The awards ceremony concluded with a special recognition “Lifetime Achievement in Relocation” for Elaine Crowe, former FOCUS Board mem- ber, for her passion and contribution to this sector.
