WHAT’S ON PLAY AT HAM HOUSE
Come and play at Ham House and Garden this summer, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy!
Eat your flowers! From June onwards visit the living exhibition in the kitchen garden. You can taste flowers, learn about their nutritional value and then eat more as ingredients in the tasty Orangery café food. There will be an activity map for families throughout the summer holidays inspired by ‘Eat your flowers!’
The Tempest The Lord Chamberlain’s men return for outdoor theatre on Sunday 8th July in ‘The Tempest’,
Garden where visitors are encouraged to sample fresh vegetables and herbs with their children. This is a great space for children to taste organic produce straight out of the ground and maybe even discover a new favourite vegetable!
gates open from 6pm with the performance starting at 7pm. Do come along and enjoy a picnic on the plats and watch an all-male cast perform the play in our beautiful gardens. Tickets available to book via the website.
Family Picking Garden Behind the Orangery Café you will find the Family Picking
Play area and gardens Just next door in the Outer Courtyard there is a natural play area, featuring Big Ben, Ham House and stepping stone bridges; as well as a grass maze, den building and a selection of garden games. Or simply relax in a deckchair with an ice cream in the beautiful gardens.

Summer Holidays at Ham
Go crunching through fallen leaves and discover a forest teeming with wildlife and autumn colours, with walking routes for all ages and abilities.
House and Garden Sat 21st July to Sun 2nd September, 10am-5pm The sunshine brings out the sunflowers – come along to see an array of different sunflowers, not all of them face the sun. Take advantage of our family picking garden, pick up an activity map or enjoy playing a variety of games come rain or shine.
