sitting on the Clubhouse Terrace with a drink in our hands after a long day of hard work, we knew again and again that we had made the right decision in partnering with Guards Polo Club. Meeting with many of the Club’s members made it feel like a second home to both them and us. We are privileged to be running Mosimann’s in London – we have members who want to dine at our Club year on year. We have got to know them, their spouses and in many cases, their children and grandchildren. Guards Polo Club has a similar, family feel for us, with members coming daily and weekly and our team getting to know their likes and dislikes. Ensuring that the members felt as if the Clubhouse was an extension to their sitting room, albeit with a better view, was a goal we strived for daily. So, it won’t come as any surprise to learn that we are proud to be working in such beautiful surroundings and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the 2018 season. In between the daily food offering, barbecues and Sunday lunches, Mosimann’s at Guards was also challenged to produce a variety of different concepts. From the La Martina Varsity Day with its hay bale seating, fruit trees and mock polo pony to the final of the Queen’s Cup, with 2,000 guests sipping Champagne and


dancing until late into the evening as the sun slowly crept down, turning the sky a distinct orange. In just five short months we saw


Vintage London Bus Bars, hog roasts, the asado pit and many more innovative food concepts, which kept the offering fresh, alive and entertaining. This season we


aim to expand on this and we welcome ideas and thoughts from members. After all, we are here for you. Last year, we thoroughly enjoyed the variations in events that took place at the Club. We were kept on our toes with events such as the Members’ Welcome Reception, the Champagne Laurent- Perrier and Mosimann's pairing dinner in conjunction with Laurent-Perrier, as well as the annual dog show for all the family. No two days were the same throughout the season! So, what is new for 2018? We will be looking into offering “Club Nights”, including special dinners such as a Frank Sinatra Evening on Saturday 26 May and further Pairing Dinners. We are even looking at creating something special for members to join the festivities and pageantry of the forthcoming Royal Wedding. In addition, we will continue to play host to the regular calendar of events and are already eager to see some fantastic
