Shepherd’s Valley Cowboy Church hosted barrel rac-
ing in Alvarado, March 16-17, paying out $10,344.01. Jane Fambro and Spotted Diamond won the Open 1D Barrels with 15.302.
The Texas Wildflower Celebration, held in Waco,
March 16-18, was sponsored by GCPHC and TPHC. There were over 1,000 Paint horse entries, 135 in trail alone. HP champions were Cara Christensen (WT-Y/Optimized), Tammy Hermann (WT-Am/Only Good Gossip) Caitlyn Knight (NY/Goodand Tite), Lacy Shelhorn (N-Am/Talk About Lazy), Haley Thomas (13&u/Hotrod Machine) Mary Katherine Camp (Y/Radicalized), Maggie Griffin (Am/Ill Be Sensational), and Tracy Billing (Master-Am/Painted Cody Jac). The show offered all-breed classes in ranch horse and speed events. HP champs in the ranch horse classes included Grace Noelke (AB-Y/Simone Deville), Frank Dias (AB/Sen- sational Dunnit), Pamela Cook (N-Am/Cookinsweet Moon- shine), Treylin Hancock (NY/Shamelessly Zippo), Bailey McDaniel (Y/Miracle Flash Dance), Jacki Jo Parks (Am/One Helluva Guy), and Lynn Walker (SPB-Am/Gunner Got Out).
USTRCs’ Louisiana Championship, held March 16-18
in West Monroe, paid out $166,608. The #8 PickDraw divi- sion paid the biggest chunk of that, and that top team was Mi- randa Chiasson and Preston McDaniels, with 29.38 on 3 head.
Lost Horizon Ranch’s March 17 horse show/playday,
held in Bryan, resulted in HPs Joslyn Delgado (8&U/0, Kayla Jung (9-13), and Melvin Carter (14&O). The next show date is May 19. fmi,

Central TX BRA’s March 17-18 event in Llano paid
out $11,782. Jacque Woodman won the 1D each day, with 14.393 Saturday and 14.164 Sunday.

events held March 17-18 in Sulphur Springs, had $9,500 added and paid out $26,186 in prizes, with 192 horses worked.
South TX BRAs March 18 competition in Hempstead
paid out $4,405. McKenna Galbreath won the Open 1D on Brownie with 15.027.
USTRC’s South TX Championship, held March 23-25
in Gonzales, paid out $254,659. #8 PickDraw paid out the biggest chunk and was won by David Rios and Raylen Williams, who lassoed 3 head in 27.22.
Mid-Tex QHA’s double-judged March 24 open show
in Belton included a real circus on the grounds, including ele- phants, a lion, and a white tiger! HPs were Carol Ray (Ranch/Buckaroo Star), Jeanette Abbe (18&O/Whatta Paint Job), Meagan McCune (17&U/Frosted In Hollywood), and Sarah Lion (WT/Hotrod That). The association’s next open show, still at Bell County Expo, is May 19.

Wild West Productions’ March 24 Spring Fling Bar-
rel Race, held in Whitesboro, paid out $5,750. Lauren Whit- tier won the Open 1D on WR Reba Fling with 14.744.
STX BRA’s March 25 event in Snook paid out $5,049.

March 29-31. Riders from Starter through Intermediate levels were welcomed by redesigned courses and additional events. The weekend’s lowest finishing score was achieved by Miriam Copeland on D’Stinctive with 22.8 in Jr Beginner Novice Rider B Division. The weekend also included the fa- cility’s first Intercollegiate Challenge, drawing 3 teams of col- legiate riders 2 from TCU and 1 from Texas A&M.
