The good news is that there’s absolutely no chance of you hurting the foetus
> During pregnancy, you may find that you reach orgasm more quickly or more slowly
than usual and you may also find that your orgasms increase in intensity.
In the mood… Just as when you’re not pregnant, sometimes you need to help you and your partner get into the mood, so take your time. Light your candles, run a long, bubble-laden bath and give each other massages and then, let the fun begin!
Wet, wet, wet OK, so let’s face it ladies, during pregnancy vaginal dryness is a common problem, so, just like a Boy Scout, be prepared and go to bed with a tube of lubricant on standby!
Feeling jumpy? If you’re prone to breast tenderness, the last thing you probably want is your boobs bouncing about like Skippy the

kangaroo sitting on a tumble drier. Do yourself a favour and get your bra on so that you reduce the chances of (a) pain and (b) giving yourself one – or two – black eyes!
Well blow me! Oral sex during pregnancy is absolutely fine and can actually be even better than pre-pregnancy – mainly because, again, your body is producing more blood and so you’re super-sensitive to all types of ‘touch’. Just don’t let your partner ‘blow’ into your genital area as – although very rare - this can put a bubble of air into your blood circulation, which can be life- threatening for you or your baby.
Fore! During pregnancy, your vulva becomes engorged with blood. This tends to make everything much more sensitive, so you may find that, during foreplay, when your partner touches you, you’ll find it even
more enjoyable than you did before you became pregnant!
A womb with a view? Ah yes, this old chestnut….worrying about hurting your baby! Well, the good news is that there’s absolutely no chance of you hurting the foetus at this time. For a start, your baby will be lying safely in your womb and unless you’re leaping from the top of the wardrobe (not advised at any time!) then sex can’t cause him any harm. Nor will he know anything about it, so rest easy on that issue.
Be prepared! Okay, maybe not the sexiest of tips, but be prepared for the aftermath! After sex, you may need to dry off – and not just because of the excitement! If you ever thought that sex could be a bit wet, then wait for pregnancy sex! From increased discharge to leaky breasts, you may find that you’re spouting from various outlets, so take a towel to bed with you!
