lamping combines glamour

and camping, and it allows one to experience all the close-to-nature goodness while still having access to creature comforts such as a comfortable bed and a climate- controlled space. Glamping is oſten done in a PleniSphere, a stylish, durable, non- toxic canvas home suitable for full-time or part-time use. Unlike a tent where one is roughing it, the PleniSphere’s 10-foot- high ceiling, ample windows and vertical walls are designed for luxurious comfort. It includes a bathtub, a queen-size bed, on- demand hot water and air conditioning. Karen and Mike Goins of Bella Green

B&B, located in the Texas Hill Country, offer glamping opportunities in a PleniSphere, and they say that it can add more romance, comfort and joy to an outing. Services include a backup concierge host to ensure glampers have everything they need. Te Goins also rent Tiny Houses and a guest- house with a screened-in porch, and they’re a PleniSphere canvas homes dealer. Glamping is believed to have origi-

nated in the United Kingdom around 2005. Lavish tents were oſten used in the

Highlands when areas were hosting visiting royals. Te tents provided pri- vacy while emulating many of the provi- sions of their own home palace. Best practice modern-day glamping experienc-

es blend a quality bed and breakfast-type experience with the best parts of tradition- al camping. Bella Green Bed & Breakfast’s Pleni-

Sphere glamping also includes a private fire pit area, optional on-site massage services and organic artisan breakfasts that address all diets. “It’s glamorous camping,” says Mike,

“and at its core, there’s a single, unified goal: to enable those who enjoy the great outdoors a way to be fully immersed in nature without sacrificing everyday comforts.” As an alternative bed and breakfast-

type experience, glamping generally appeals to couples looking for something different, and want a special way to celebrate a honeymoon, a birthday, an anniversary or just to check a fun experience off their bucket lists.
