BUSINESS REPORT TEAM GROWS TO MEET DEMAND
CMC IT Limited has bolstered its team this year after demands for its IT support grew considerably in 2017. In January several new starters
joined the business, including three additions to its support team and one addition to its sales team. Sales director Jeremy Curtis said:
“IT Support is of critical importance to organisations and we aim to provide a first-class service with our UK-based support team answering our phones and dealing with all aspects of support enquiries. The first line team is supported, on an escalation basis, by second line and senior engineers for the more time consuming or challenging topics. “Now we have
more people answering the phones answering support calls, more people handling email support tickets and more people handling web-based support tickets. “This boost to our team will really help us to provide an

inbound support calls improving performance

support calls.” The CMC IT Support team
monitors its customers’ networks
remotely using a system it has configured using performance monitoring probes. These probes are assigned to constantly report status on a wide range of parameters including disk space, RAM usage, network load and other vitally important factors.
This pro-active approach allows
for early intervention and means its customers avoid any downtime and are often unaware of any issue at all.
