2009: As in previous years we have let one of our guys turn his imagination into reality but this time did not limit his time to just a couple of days. What you see here is the result of a number of months work with several prototypes before finally deciding on the best handling and looking version. The main component is a bolt on rigid back end to fit the modern Bullet frame. The transformation of the Bullet is excellent with a true 1940’s look.
There are several bolt on parts that are associated with this particular bike, for instance the chainguard and rear mudguard, although you do have the option to modify your own. You can also let your own imagination or memories run wild and go further than we have with other parts from this catalogue.
This will involve the modification of your existing frame by removing the 2 tubes where the rear half is welded to the main top tube. This sounds a little daunting but is actually fairly simple and quick and with the supplied instructions should be foolproof. (Careful removal will allow it to be refitted in the future if required).
