I crafted an easy pomegranate glaze that pairs so well with salty ham.

Pomegranate Glaze

1½ cups pomegranate juice ¾cup packed brown sugar small cinnamon stick

Combine ingredients in a small pot. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer until mix- ture becomes syrupy (about 40 minutes). Be sure to stir occasionally. Store in airtight container.

This is enough glaze for a small ham. If you have a large ham, double the recipe. When it’s time to cook or warm your ham, pour one third of the glaze over it and then warm/cook according to directions. When the ham is done, add another third. Serve the last third in a dish on the table so people can drizzle it over their ham.
